Mesa East Results - 10/7/2012

Well, you would think that going to one of the furthest locations from the center of the valley would deter bowlers from making the drive and competing. Not the SFT FAMILY! We had another great turn out with 86 entries, 22 cashers, a 1 in 3.9 cash ratio and paid out over $3,000.00 in our main tournament. Then our side action had another 20 sweeper entries and with high game pots paid out another $594.00. I want to thank all of the members for wanting to come out and compete with each other no matter where we are. Also, thanks to the local bowlers in the East Mesa area that came out and joined the family for the first time. Thanks to all of you!

AMF Christown Results - 9/30/2012

Well we had another great event this weekend at AMF Christown Lanes. I can’t tell you how great this center is for tournaments. I really love the lay out and how the spectators are above the players. It is one of our favorite centers in the valley and has A LOT of tournament history in it. The main event drew 86 total entries, had 23 prize winners, a 1 in 3.7 cash ratio and paid out over $3,300.00! The side events had 32 sweeper entries, and paid out over $700. The high game pot squad is really starting to grow! This event the Sunday 1pm squad drew 34 total bowlers! Congrats to Hokey Begay, Dylan Taylor and Ben Dewberry on winning $100 each for their $10 investment! Our next event at Mesa East will also have $100 per game side pots on Sunday at 1pm.

AMF McRay Results - 9/16/2012

Well another great event at AMF McRay Plaza Lanes. We had 82 entries, 24 prize winners, a 1 in 3.4 cash ratio and paid out nearly $3,000 in the main tournament prize fund. We had another 21 entries in the sweeper and paid out an additional $600.00 in side action. The bowlers bowled on the Kegel Middle Road oil pattern. The pattern seemed to start off a little touchy but playable, but definitely opened up as the day went on. The pattern yielded higher cut scores then usual and allowed for a variety of styles to compete.

We did have quite a few bowlers’ cash for the first time in this event, it’s not easy, so I want to give them a quick congrats. Mark Myers, Randy Reis, Robert Lewis, Lynn Heide, and Anthony Dang congrats on your first quarter finals appearance. However, this was the first event for Mark, Lynn, Robert, and Anthony, which makes their quarter finals appearance even that much more impressive. Congrats to all of you on your success this weekend.

Brunswick Mesa Results - 9/3/2012

What an amazing weekend! New records, new members, new features, and much more! Our Labor Day event ended up having 175 total tournament entries, 43 prize winners, a 1 in 4 cash ratio, and paid out over $6,600.00 in our main tournament prizefund. Our sweepers had over 30 entries, and with the side pots paid out an additional $1,000. It was a record turnout and record high pay out. Needless to say it was a pretty incredible weekend! Not to mention the exciting $100 per game side pot squad that had nearly 40 bowlers on the floor at once!

Glenfair Lanes Results - 8/12/2012

This ended up being a very memorable event with a lot of story lines. It was a great note to leave on while we take a couple weekends off before our big Labor Day event. As always, the family came out strong again for this event while we also added a few new members to the family! I would like to welcome Carlos Vejar, Lordan Ferguson, Michele Large, Lisa Henderson, Mandy Etem, Dennis Smith, James Settle Jr, and Michael Holland to the Strike Force family! These bowlers and the rest of the members came out to create 92 entries, 23 cashers, a 1 in 4 cash ratio and a total payout that totaled over $3,300! We also had a few members who made their first quarter finals appearance, quick congrats to Victor Mendoza Jr., Carlos Vejar, Lordan Ferguson, Michele Large, Lisa Henderson, and Vince Dorsey on their first quarter finals.

AMF Chandler Results - 8/5/2012

This weekend’s event was at AMF Chandler Lanes. We only had 5 squads which is the least amount of squads we have ever had available. This didn’t stop everyone from coming out, competing and supporting the SFT family. The event drew a total of 85 entries, had 22 cashers and a 1 in 3.8 cash ratio! Even though we take a lot of bowlers to the finals, this doesn’t stop us from paying $1,000 for first and $500.00 for second! It’s only possible because of how much all of the members continue to spread the word and show their support! Thanks to everyone for their help making the new SFT AHT a growing success!

AMF Peoria Results - 7/29/12

We had our very first event on the far west side of the town and it was a great one! We had a lot of new members from the west side come out to compete and join the Strike Force Tour Family. The event drew a total of 79 entries, had 22 cashers, a 1 in 3.6 cash ratio, and paid out over $2,000. We were in a part of town we have never been in, but the support from old and new SFT family members was amazing as always! We had some great story lines and more memories to add to the 2012 season.

Brunswick Mesa Results - 7/15/2012

I can’t believe I am saying this but we broke our entry record already! The record before this event for non-holiday events was 101. We had that a couple weeks ago at Brunswick Kyrene Lanes. This weekend at Brunswick Mesa we had 126 total entries! To make it even better we had a total of 19 new members sign up! I have to take a moment and thank the Strike Force Tour family. The job all of you have done supporting the club and each other, no matter where the event is located, has been unparalleled. Not only have you been driving all over the valley, but you have been bringing friends and telling people each month also. We have been having events now for a very short 18 weeks. The job that everyone has done in such a short period of time is unprecedented. I can’t thank all of you enough, and am happy to see the prize funds continue to grow for all of you!

Brunswick Kyrene Results - 7/1/2012

WOW! What a weekend of records, firsts, and many memories! We had our first honor score on the tour, first youth bowler champion, first event with over 100 entries, record high pay out, two brothers winning titles, and a 9th and 10th frame roll off! This might be a long summary, but it still won’t sum up how amazing this weekend was. It’s always a lot fun, but this weekend felt like it was the start of something special for the Strike Force Tour.

Shea Village Results - 6/24/2012

We had another fun and successful event this weekend at AMF Shea Village Lanes. We had a total of 68 entries. We had more new members welcomed to the Strike Force Tour Family and welcomed back some longtime members we haven’t seen before. I would like to give a shout out to Robert Nix a new member that made the quarter finals and also Jim Arnone for stopping by and saying hi! Jim, I hope I spelt your name right! We had a total of 68 entries and 20 cashers which is a 1 in 3.4 cash ratio!
