Bowlero Kyrene

Bowlero Kyrene - 6/11/2023

This weekend we had a 3-squad standard tournament at Bowlero Mesa.  We had a huge turnout with 139 total entries (100 qualifying entries and 39 economy parlays entries).  We had 34 cashers, a 1 in 4.11 cash ratio and paid out over $8,300.00 in main event and side event prize funds.  The players bowled on the 48ft PBA Shark oil pattern that plays a bit differently as it is a long pattern in length but does not have a lot of volume in the middle.  This creates a bit of an odd transition as the lanes start to “dry out” in the front and middle parts of the lane which forces bowlers to move left (for righties) quickly.  However, with most patterns you can still get the ball out towards to outside part of the lane and hook it back but with this pattern if you get it too far outside too early it would hit the out of bounds and not come back.

Bowlero Kyrene - 1/29/2023

We had our 2nd event of the 2023 season this weekend at Bowlero Kyrene and we had another great turnout! We would see 161 total entries (123 qualifying and 38 economy parlays) with 40 cashers, a 1 in 4 cash ratio and paid out over $10,000.00 in main and side event prize funds. The players bowled on a squirrely 35ft PBA Cheetah pattern that played a bit longer than the previous versions that was laid out. Also, the center had updated some of their lanes since our last event here. There was a difference in how to attack the pattern, but those that found success were able to play up the gutter and get their ball to roll correctly through the pins. The average cut score was a bit higher as shorter pattern’s scores are usually on the high side.

Bowlero Kyrene - 9/5/2022

This weekend’s event was our 3-Day Labor Day Major at Bowlero Kyrene. We would see 350 total entries (238 qualifying and 112 parlay entries) this weekend which would get close to but would come up short on our qualifying entries record that we set Memorial Day Major event! It was great to see everyone come out to compete and have a good time. Honestly, we cannot thank the bowling community enough for all the help in making this such a successful event. We would draw entries from around the state and it was great to see some bowlers that we have not seen a while.

Bowlero Kyrene - 7/9/2022

We kicked off our 2022 Summer Circuit this weekend at Bowlero Kyrene and we had a great turnout! We would see 140 entries (108 qualifying and 32 economy parlays) with 35 cashers, a 1 in 4 cash ratio and paid out over $9,000.00 in main and side event prize funds. The players bowled on a squirrely 35ft PBA Cheetah pattern that played a bit longer than the previous versions that was laid out. There was a difference in how to attack the pattern, but those that found success were able to play up the gutter and get their ball to roll correctly through the pins. The average cut score was a bit higher, but with this shorter pattern scores are usually on the high side.

Bowlero Kyrene - 1/16/22

We kicked off the 2022 season with our first event this weekend at Bowlero Kyrene and we had a great turnout with 126 entries (86 qualifying and 40 economy parlays).  We had 35 cashers, a 1 in 3.6 cash ratio and paid out over $7,000.00 in main and side event prize funds.  The players bowled on the 43ft Kegel Krypton oil pattern that was higher scoring for most of the day.  Bowlers were able to play a variety of angles on the pattern.  The cut scores stayed above +90 for most of the day, which meant that you had to bowl about 25-30 pins over your average per game to qualify.
