We had another great turn out this week with 87 entries at Glenfair Lanes! We had a total of 23 prize winners which is a 1 in 3.8 cash ratio! We are having such an incredible start and it is all thanks to the Strike Force Tour family. Our tournament cut ratios to the finals have all been less than 1 in 5 while still guaranteeing $1,000 for first place. We couldn’t provide such a great prize fund without the support of everyone! So thank you!
We had a very successful co-op tournament with TNBA, with the two tournaments basically filling the house! We are pleased to announce our further partnership with the TNBA and will have announcements coming soon about some future events that we will be partnering up for.
Glenfair featured some great moments for everyone. We had long time Strike Force Tour employee and member Charlie Price join us for his first tournament back, which was very exciting. Jeff Lewis, who is one of few members who have bowled in the Strike Force Tour since 1991, came out to say hi and show his support. We had over a dozen new members come out and experience the SFT AHT. Congrats to new members, Corey Weig, Dominic Coririssi, Ryan Burt, and Jeff Bracket on making the quarter finals in their very first tournament.
We had a tournament that truly magnified the benefit of divisional insurance and the senior & women’s division. Both of our finalists, Lynn Arthur and Josh Reid, made the cut because of either divisional insurance or the optional senior & women’s division. These features aren’t available in most tournaments, and Lynn and Josh really took advantage of their $5.00 investments by taking 1st and 2nd in the tournament. Lynn qualified with -44 in the senior & women’s division on Saturday, and Josh qualified with +00 as the “A” divisions insurance cut. Lynn Arthur is our first two time titleist, and when asked about the lead he will have in season points, he said, “It’s a long season”.
