AMF Tempe Village

AMF Tempe Village - 2/23/20

Our event this weekend was at AMF Tempe Village and it was a BIG ONE!  We had a huge turnout with 117 entries through 3 squads, which consisted of 78 qualifying entries and 39 economy parlay entries. This created a huge payout of over $6,000.00 in main and side event prize funds!  The players bowled on a very tough 45ft PBA Dragon oil pattern that forced most players to play the middle part of the lane. It was very difficult to play to the right unless you were pointing it right at the head pin.  Most of the player’s that had success were in around the 3rd and 4th arrow. The cut scores for the weekend were around the +40 range which only requires bowling a little bit over average for the 3-game set.

AMF Tempe Village - 7/22/18

Our event this weekend was at AMF Tempe Village lanes! We had another great turn out with 95 total entries (66 qualifying and 29 economy parlay), 25 cashers, 1 in  3.8 cash ratio and paid out over $4,000.00 in main and side event prize fund! The players bowled on a 36ft Phase 1 oil pattern that played very difficult. This was because the middle of the lane played like a shorter pattern, but the outsides did not. The outside part of the lane seemed to want to hang or not have as much reaction off of them. This kept scores very low with the average cut scores not requiring players to bowl over average by very much. There weren't any players that bowled over +100 and the average cut score was around +30.

AMF Tempe Village - 2/18/18

Our event this weekend was at AMF Tempe Village lanes, which we hadn’t been at in quite a long time and it showed! The bowlers were ready to come out and bowl in this center again! We had a great turnout with 122 total entries (86 qualifying entries & 36 economy parlay entries) 33 total cashers, a 1 in 3.8 cash ratio and paid out over $5,000.00 in main and side event prize fund! The players bowled on a 47ft Scorpion oil pattern that started off kind of tough, but nothing crazy and only got easier and easier as the day went on. The last squad really had the high scores, but it also was a huge one with 50 bowlers on it!

AMF Tempe VIllage Results - 3/13/16

The event this weekend was another great turn out for the 2-squad format. We also added a second check-in person and 30 mins to each squad length to make sure we ran on time and things went great. There were 74 total entries for the day (43 qualifying, and 31 economy parlay), which means there were about 40 bowlers on each squad. There were 22 cashers, a 1 in 3.6 cash ratio, and paid out nearly $3,000.00 in main and side event prizefund. We saw another great balance of entries in all three division, a lot of new bowlers, and some of the new bowlers bowling well and some not bowling well. Things are looking very very good regarding some of the new rules the members voted in for this season.
