Bowlero Union Hills - 9/1/25 - Labor Day Major

This weekend’s event was our 3-Day Labor Day Major at Bowlero Union Hills.  We would see 201 total entries with 174 qualifying and 27 parlay entries this weekend.  We can’t thank the bowling community enough for all the help in making this such a successful event.  The event had 61 cashers, a 1 in 3.30 cash ratio and paid out over $9,590 in main and side event prize funds.  The players bowled on a Stars and Stripes Mystery oil pattern (41 ft Kegel Arsenic) that proved to be very tough. Players did not know any info on the pattern until Monday, as it was announced at the start of the cashers round. It would put a premium on avoiding splits and picking up spares. The scoring pace seemed to improve each day, as it seemed some bowlers starting to experiment and in different parts of the lane to see where they had the best look. Most people moved further outside on the gutter and those people seemed to have more success.

Our event this weekend was at AMF Mesa and we had a decent turnout. We had a total of 77 entries (65 qualifying and 12 economy parlays) with 24 prize winners and a 1 in 3.21 cash ratio, paying out $3,660 in prize funds. The players bowled on the 48ft Eiffel Tower oil pattern that provided a higher scoring pace throughout the event.

Bowlero Union Hills - 2/16/25

Our event this weekend was at Bowlero Union Hills and we would have the biggest turnout of the season! We had 105 total entries (84 qualifying and 21 economy parlays) with 27 prize winners and a 1 in 3.89 cash ratio, paying out over $4,970 in main prize funds. The players bowled on the 41ft Beaten Path V2 oil pattern that provided a higher scoring pace. It would take about +75 to qualify for the quarterfinals.

We had our first Momma’s Mystery Pot winner worth $500! The winner was Michael Moser with a score of 160! Your winner of the drawing for the free plastic ball, with the option to upgrade to any high-performance Track ball for $99.00, was Arthur Lara!

AMF Union Hills - 7/31/2022

Our event this weekend was at AMF Union Hills, and we had another great turnout in back-to-back weekends. We had 139 total entries (100 qualifying & 39 economy parlays) for 2 squads, with 35 prize winners and a 1 in 3.97 cash ratio, paying out over $9,200 in main and side event prize funds. The players bowled on the 43ft Kegel Deadman’s Curve oil pattern that played very soft at this center. The pattern has an out of bounds if you get it too far towards the gutter early, but it looked like there was enough of a built-in track that the bowlers were able to overcome it. We would see a lot of higher scores than usual but going from pair to pair there were some big differences, but once the oil pattern started to break down in the later squads, then scores started to pick up. It would take about +80 to qualify for the quarterfinals with bowlers needing to bowl 20-30 pins over their average per game to advance.

AMF Union HIlls - 2/28/21

This weekend’s event was at AMF Union Hills and we had a nice turnout considering all the other events going on all over the Valley.  This is the first time that we have been back to Union Hills since right before the Covid-19 pandemic started.  So, it was good to be back in the area and we would draw 86 total entries (54 qualifying and 32 economy parlays), had 25 prize winners, a 1 in 3.44 cash ratio and paid out over $3,900.00 in main and side event prize funds. The players bowled on a 44ft London oil pattern that played a lot tighter on the fresh, but once the pattern broke down, scoring sky rocketed.  The key to this pattern was to get your ball into a roll and play a little straighter along the track.  Those that could do that were able to take advantage of the pattern.
