Starlite Lanes

Starlite Lanes - 8/21/16

This weekend we were in beautiful Flagstaff, AZ at the always hospitable and cozy Starlite Lanes. We always have an annual event here and while we don't get the same entry counts in town, there are many of us that look forward to getting out of town and experiencing the great weather and awesome staff at Starlite. Not to mention we always have our SFT AHT "out of town" dinner which is a nice treat. This weekend specifically was a very busy one with a lot fo other events and tournaments going on. Our criss cross doubles event had 5 teams and our standard event drew 39 entries (29 qualifying and 10 economy parlay), each event had nearly a 1 in 3 cash ratio and paid out over $2,500.00 in main and side event prizes. The players bowled on a 39ft Viper oil pattern that had slightly high cut scores with most cut scores being around +80 which requires about 15 pins over average per game.

Flagstaff Results - 8/30/15

Well our weekend in Flagstaff was another great one! We started it off with a fun Criss Cross doubles event on Saturday afternoon, followed up with a nice SFT dinner get together at Outback Steakhouse later that night. Then it was all capped off with our big Flagstaff minor event that featured a guaranteed first place price of $600.00. Both events were bowled on the 44ft Shark oil pattern, but they definitely played much different on Sunday than Saturday.

We got to meet all kinds of new bowlers this weekend also. We want to welcome Michael Kelley, Kyle Thoma, Eric Richards, Rochelle Richards, Tyler Hailey, Ruben Redhair, Cody Peterson, and William Decker to the SFT AHT family. We are always excited for all of the new people we get to meet when we go to new areas. We also want to congratulate Cody Peterson and Tyler Hailey on advancing to the quarter finals of the Minor event in their first ever event! Great bowling guys!

Starlite Lanes Results - 8/10/14

Our first event in Flagstaff couldn’t have been any more of a success! We had 105 entries, 28 cashers, a 1 in 3.75 cash ratio and paid out over $5,000.00 in main and side event prizes. I can’t thank the locals enough for their support of the event. Their support far surpassed that of any other out of town area we have been so far. This was in due in large part to the bowling center’s proprietor, Ron Getto and his staff’s absolute commitment to the success of the event. If you combined the efforts of other centers that we have worked with in the past, it still wouldn’t come close to what Starlite lanes put forth to assist with the event. Because of the success of the event, and the incredible experience the club had there, we have already confirmed another event to be scheduled there in August of 2015. If you missed out on the beautiful weather and bowling fun this year, just mark your calendars for next year.
