Brunswick Desert Sky

Brunswick Desert Sky - 10/9/16

Our event today drew 68 entries (44 qualifying and 24 economy parlay), had 20 cashers, a 1 in 3.8 cash ratio and paid out over $3,000.00 in main and side event prize money. The players bowled on the 45ft Mexico City oil pattern that is one of the longer patterns we have used in a long time. Most of the players played in the middle of the lane or around the 2nd arrow at the furthest right. It didn't take the pattern long to break down and forced players further left.

We want to welcome the new bowlers that joined us at this event. Jason Kociemba, Mike Miller, Matt Dudley, Christian Roque, Eric Carroll and Paul Colyer are all new members that joined us at this event! We want to thank all of them for coming out and joining us for thier first event! We hope they all had a good time and we look forward to seeing them again! Also congrats to Eric Carroll on being a parlay power player in his first event with us.

Brunswick Desert Sky Results - 11/1/2015

Our event this Sunday was at Brunswick Desert Sky lanes. We had a good turnout with 60 entries (41 qualifying and 19 economy parlay), 15 cashers, a 1 in 4 cash ratio and paid out nearly $3,000.00 in main and side event prizefund. The players bowled on a very difficult 39ft Viper oil pattern. The scores were very low with practially no one doing a lot of striking, and the key to doing well being spares and mental focus. Most of the players that did well were straigther players, who were mentally tough and good spare shooters.

We want to welcome Sean and Jeremy Warren to the SFT AHT family. We are always excited to have new members and humbled to know that we are still getting new members at every event. A special congrats to Jeremy Warrent who made it to his first ever SFT AHT quarter finals in his first event. He beat his dad Sean by only 4 pins the first squad but re-entered and bowled a huge set to advance to the quarter finals.

Brunswick Desert Sky Results 4/19/15

Our event this weekend was at Brunswick Desert Sky, and like most times, the SFT AHT family came together and had a good time! The event drew 84 total entries (67 qualifying entries and 17 economy parlay entries), had 27 cashers, a 1 in 3.1 cash ratio and paid out over $4,000.00 in main and side event prize fund. The players bowled on the 40ft PBA Earl Anthony oil pattern that yielded fairly low scores. The pattern did seem to work better for players that could play it straighter and stay out of trouble.

Desert Sky Results - 2/15/15

We had another great turn out at Brunswick Desert Sky lanes. The event drew 73 total entries, which consisted of 49 qualifying entries and 24 economy parlay entries. We had a total of 18 cashers which was a 1 in 4 cash ratio and the event paid out nearly $4,000.00 with only 3 squads of bowling. The best part that the increased number of qualifying entries combined with the fact that there were no exempt players added to the quarter finals allowed for a dramatically increased payout from the advertised amounts. The low to cash amounts were increased by $15 and the top 3 spots were increased by $100 each, which left the overall prize fund increased by over $400.

Brunswick Desert Sky Results - 12/15/2013

Our final event of the 2013 season was a great one! We had a great turn out, and as always, many story lines! The event drew 106 entries, 26 cashers, a 1 in 4 cash ratio and paid out over $4,500.00! The players bowled on an incredibly difficult 47ft Scorpion pattern, which as some of you may know, is the newest version of this pattern that was used in this year’s World Series of Bowling. The PBA telecast for this pattern comes on December 22nd. There were players that played the pattern straighter, and some played it a bit more inside but no one got their ball right of the 8 board as that was out of bounds for just about everyone. It seemed that the difference maker was just keeping your shots in play to leave easier spares.
