AMF Deer Valley Results - 5/25/15

The majors are always exciting! Our biggest payouts, turnouts and most anticipated events of the entire season. We currently have two majors each year, one on Memorial Day and one on Labor Day. This event was an awesome one! We had 168 entries (126 qualifying entries & 42 economy parlay entries), 44 cashers, a 1 in 3.8 cash ratio and paid out over $10,000.00 in main and side event prizefund. The pattern we used was the 42ft Stars and Stripes oil pattern that we designed specifically for this event. The pattern proved to be one of the higher scoring patterns we have ever used for any of our major events. The cut scores all weekend were typically around +110 to +130. Since the handicap system is based on 90% of 225, this means most people making the cut were bowling about 20 pins over average per game. It definitely appeared that the players that were comfortable hooking it a little bit more matched up a little bit better this weekend.

Deer Valley Results - 2/22/15

Our standard event this weekend was at AMF Deer Valley Lanes. The event drew 96 entries (55 qualifying and 31 economy parlay), 27 cashers, a 1 in 3.5 cash ratio and paid out over $4,000.00 in main and side event prize funds. The players bowled on the custom SFT pattern 40ft Death Valley pattern that proved to not be so deathly after all. The pattern was playable from all angles and yielded pretty high scores. Most of our cut scores this weekend were +100 or higher. Also, there were some players that really matched up well and went crazy! We had a few players go over +150 and even some that went over +200 so great bowling to all of you!
 

AMF Deer Valley Results - 1/11/15

This weekend’s event at AMF Deer Valley was our very first Minor ever. We were excited to add this new format to our schedule in 2015 to create a lot more tournaments for the club members to bowl. The minors are one day events with only 3 squads that still have great payouts and all of the same features and formats that you have come to love! For our first ever one day event, it was a huge success! We had 73 total entries with 47 qualifying entries and 26 economy parlay entries. While we guaranteed 1st - $600, 2nd - $300 and 3rd - $200 regardless of entries, we still encouraged a strong turnout for the potential of an increased payout from the advertised guarantees.  Sure enough, the turnout was fantastic and we were able to increase the payouts for 2nd and 3rd $100 each! After one minor event we are excited about having more of these events coming up, including next Sunday, January 18th at Glenfair Lanes!

AMF Deer Valley Results - 3/3/2013

Well most of the time we have went to the west or north side of town we normally get 70 – 80 entries. The only non-holiday events to ever get over 100 entries all came from Brunswick centers in the east valley. Well NOT ANY MORE! AMF Deer Valley brought out 60 members, 105 entries, had 27 cashers, a 1 in 3.8 cash ratio, and paid out over $5,000 in prizes. We are exactly one month away from our 1 year anniversary, and I can’t thank all of you enough for doing what you have done to help grow the club to this size in less than a year! We are approaching the one year mark and it’s very clear we have many more years to come!
