AMF McRay

Location:

Our event this weekend was at AMF McRay and we had a medium turnout. We had a total of 77 entries (63 qualifying and 14 economy parlays) with 19 prize winners and a 1 in 3.59 cash ratio, paying out $3,125 in prize funds. The players bowled on the 37 ft Radium that provided a medium-higher scoring pace throughout the event.

No one hit the Momma’s Mystery Pot this week, so that money will move on to our next event, The Labor Day Major at Union Hills!! Your winner of the drawing for the free plastic ball, with the option to upgrade to any high-performance Track ball for $99.00, was Chip Carr!

There were 19 competitors who made it to the cashers round. Coming out of the A Division was Tim Eichhorn (+74) who moved on straight to the finals (only 4 cashers in A). The B Division would see Zach Van Dusen (+95) vs. Jack Haines (+66). Their match would be a blowout, with Zach being victorious, 228-175. The C Division would see Alex Olson (+66) vs. Henri Myllymaki (+50). Alex would defeat Henry, in a higher scoring match, 244-214.

The finals would be a tight race to the finish line, with all the bowlers having a chance coming down the stretch. Tim would be the star of the show as he picked up the dreaded 7-10 in the 8th frame to keep him in the match! However, Alex would stay clean and was able to snag the win along with the top prize of $885. Final scores were 227 (Olson) - 222 (Eichhorn) - 209 (Van Dusen).
