Our last event had another great turnout with 83 entries! We had a total of 22 cashers which ends up at a 1 in 3.77 cash ratio! WOW! Large first place prizes are great, but it really helps when the cut ratio allows for more bowlers to make the finals. We had multiple bowlers that really benefited from our divisional insurance and the optional senior and woman division. Tom Large with +30 and Ron Badger with +69 both made the cut as the high seniors. Roger Sensing, Hokey Begay, Jason Reick, and Lynn Arthur all made the cut with divisional insurance. The participants bowled on the Kegel Broadway pattern.The scores were fairly high for this event, most cuts were taking +80 to +100.
We had a lot of exciting things happen. Bryce Barnette almost bowled a perfect game but fell short with a nice 289 game. Kevin Schleafer comes back out after taking years off from bowling and finishes 4th in his division. We got to see long time Strike Force Tour family members Tom Large & Roger Sensing come out and show everyone why they are still some of the best. We had OUR FIRST ECONOMY PARLAY SUCCESS STORY! Jesse Decker purchased an economy parlay on Saturday morning for $25. He then showed the true POWER of the PARLAY, by turning that $25 into $500. If you have any questions regarding the parlay you can Call Jesse at....... just kidding. Call Craig Spencer at 480-686-5704. The big winner was Shane Vallaeu representing team ASU. He bowled great all day long and really stepped it up a notch once the finals started. His 3 game set during the quarter finals was over 750 and he bowled over 200 every game through out the finals. Great bowling buddy! It's well deserved! I know how hard you have been working on your game!
