Brunswick Tri-City

Brunswick Tri-City - 10/7/18

Our event this weekend was at Brunswick Tri-City.  We had a nice turnout with all the other tournaments running in other parts of the valley.  We had a total of 59 entries (43 Qualifying & 16 Economy Parlay), 26 cashers, with a 1 in 3.2 cash ratio and paid out over $3,200.00 in main and side event prize funds. The players bowled on a pattern we don’t use often and one that is a tough to get used to. The PBA pattern Badger that is 52 feet in length. This is the longest oil pattern used in competitive play and “hooking” your ball into the pocket really isn’t an option on the fresh oil pattern.  You have to get used to your ball fading back high flush until the pattern starts to break down a little bit.

Brunswick Tri-City - 6/24/18

Our event this weekend was at Brunswick Tri-City lanes. The event drew 89 total entries (63 qualifying & 26 parlays), had 28 cashers, a 1 in 3.2 cash ratio and paid out over $4,400.00 in main and side event prize funds! The players bowled on the PBA 45ft Dragon oil pattern that played very tricky for all bowlers.  We did have a few that matched up well and were able to produce some high scores on the fresh and then struggled as the lanes tightened up with carry down in the following squads. Most players were playing straight at the headpin or just left of 3rd arrow and it seemed that the players that could repeat their shots had a little better chance at putting together good games.  This was a change of pace since the last two tournaments had very high scores.

Brunswick Tri-City Results - 9/21/14

We had an awesome tournament this weekend at Brunswick Tri-City lanes! We had all kinds of cool story lines that I will get into in a little bit. First off, we always start with the turn out. The event drew 105 entries, 29 cashers, had a 1 in 3.62 cash ratio, and paid out over $4,500.00 in main and side event prizefund. The exciting thing about this, is that it keeps our streak of 100 entries intact for standard events in Arizona. In 2013 we were excited to break 100 entries, and in 2014 we have yet to not break 100 entires. I am sure that the club will plateau at some point, but we sure hope that the members can keep the growth going as long as they can. We were at Brunswick Tri-City almost the same exact time of the year last year and had only 82 entries.

Brunswick Tri-City Results - 10/28/2012

Well one weekend gone and another successful SFT AHT event in the record books. We had another event in a very remote part of the valley but the SFT family and new members still came out to support each other. We had a total of 64 entries, 21 cashers, a 1 in 3 cash ratio, and paid out almost $3,000 in our main AHT event. Our side action in the AHT event drew another 28 entries in the sweeper and when combined with the high game pots paid out another $632! This weekend also had an AST (Scratch) event and that event drew 23 entries and paid out over $1,000.00 - more info for that by clicking here. As always, I want to thank the SFT family and it’s new members for coming out to support us and each other. You are the reason the SFT is growing at such an incredible pace!
