Riverside Results - 3/28/15
We had an awesome weekend in Laughlin for our annual Laughlin trip to get out down and bowl some tournaments with some new friends! Both events had more entries and local support this year then last year. We are excited to have already scheduled are return to Laughlin in 2016! We will be coming back on the same weekend in March in 2016 and will be using the same type of formats that we used this year! The criss cross doubles drew 26 teams, had 7 cashing teams and paid out nearly $1,000.00 in main and side event prizes. The Riverside Championship event on Sunday, used a Minor event format, had 41 entries (31 qualifying and 10 economy parlay), 12 cashers, a 1 in 3.4 cash ratio and paid out over $2,000.00 in main and side event prizes.
Brunswick Kyrene Results - 4/12/15
Brunswick Desert Sky Results 4/19/15
Glenfair Results - 4/26/15
This weekend we were at Glenfair lanes for one of our 1 day events, that have become very successful. This event seemed to be event fot he 1st timers! We had a lot of success from bowlers bowling in their very first tournament this Sunday! The event this weekend drew 77 entries (55 qualifying & 22 economy parlay), had 20 cashers, a 1 in 4 cash ratio and paid out nearly $4,000.00 in maind and side event prizefunds. The event, like many of the one day events had a large enough turn out to increase the prizefund from the advertised guarantees. First was increased from $600 to $700, 2nd from $300 to $500, 3rd from $200 to $400, divisional runner ups got $170 instead of $160 and low to cash in the quarters was increased from $80 to $95. We really weren't sure how the turn outs were going to be for our one day events, especially with having events every single weekend.
Camp Verde Results - 5/3/15
Our events at Cliff Castle Casino were a bunch of fun as expected! The main event drew 44 entries, had 12 cashers had a 1 in 3.6 cash ratio and paid out over $2,000.00 in main and side event prize fund. Our criss cross doubles event drew 13 teams which was smaller than usual, but was expected due to conflicting with the Manny/Mayweather fight. We want to thank all of our great members that made the drive to support the event and we look forward to our next out of town event.
Via Linda Results - 5/9/15
AMF Deer Valley Results - 5/25/15
The majors are always exciting! Our biggest payouts, turnouts and most anticipated events of the entire season. We currently have two majors each year, one on Memorial Day and one on Labor Day. This event was an awesome one! We had 168 entries (126 qualifying entries & 42 economy parlay entries), 44 cashers, a 1 in 3.8 cash ratio and paid out over $10,000.00 in main and side event prizefund. The pattern we used was the 42ft Stars and Stripes oil pattern that we designed specifically for this event. The pattern proved to be one of the higher scoring patterns we have ever used for any of our major events. The cut scores all weekend were typically around +110 to +130. Since the handicap system is based on 90% of 225, this means most people making the cut were bowling about 20 pins over average per game. It definitely appeared that the players that were comfortable hooking it a little bit more matched up a little bit better this weekend.
AMF Christown Results - 5/31/15
AMF McRay Results - 6/7/15
Our event at AMF McRay lanes drew 60 entries, had 16 cashers, a 1 in 3.75 cash ratio and paid out over $3,000.00 in main and side event prizes. The players bowled on the 40ft Kegel Highway To Hell pattern that proved to be very difficult. It created some of the lowest scoring that we have seen in quite a long time. There were many players that didn’t think they made the cut, and made the cut easily because the scores were so low. Most of the cut scores throughout the tournament had players bowling below average and making the cut still. The average cut score was around +60 for all of the divisions and the quarter finals. One thing was for sure, the players that had an advantage were those that were good spare shooters. They were able to minimize the difficulty of striking.
